I was hired to adapt Instaply’s website to appeal to business owners and franchises throughout various markets in the U.S. The application and software already worked seamlessly for clients. A facelift was all we needed needed, an updated pitch highlighting the top features and benefits for the users in the U.S. market.
Out With the Old
The initial design shown here was a bit muddy. The overall impact this software can have on a business was falling short. While several features and highlights were shown, you had to really to chew through a large amount of copy in order to understand the product and how it can work for a business. The main call to action on this page featured a two-step form starting with “Enter your work email” to “Request a Demo”. After this users were led to another page (below right) to give more personal information, incluiding work email for a second time.

Research
First and foremost, I thought it was important to streamline this form submission. In order to convert interested business owners into a potential leads, showcasing the simplicity of the product was crucial. Instead of filling out a complicated two-step form, visitors now can recieve more information about Instaply with just their name and phone number.
User Personas
Brainstorm
Now Instaply can show business owners how their product works. I also wanted to create an opportunity for an emotional connection on this page. By showing a frustrated customer on a support call to a happy customer recieving a text message, a business owner sees the value in the product Instaply offers.
Design & Prototype
When designing this layout I put together bold sections highlighting the products touchpoints that can be easily digested.
** UPDATE! ** New Design & Prototype
Instaply has been a long time client of mine so I was fortunate enough to update their design recently and bring their branding to a much cleaner layout.
